Graduation 2009

I have GRADUATED!!!

I dont feel anything (dont be deceived by my exclamation marks), and yeap, call me "cold blooded".

Goodbye to everyone and everything in my poly. For the moment now, I dont think I miss anyone or anything yet. Maybe, I didnt put my heart and soul in it, that's why I am not so bothered by it, alot.

Hm, maybe just some of my classmates since I relied on them (i am a dependent person). Aw, didnt really haf alot of really can talk friends in poly, since I think we dont haf the common topic. Honestly speaking, unless you took the initiative, if not that's it for us. I dont take the initiative, since I dont know how to, and who knows whether it will be reciprocate anot.

At most, I can assure you that I'll try to reciprocate back if I can. The world doesnt need to revolve around me, since I dont need the world to does that, I just need you to know that I still exist in front of you, waiting for you...

Simple as that, and wish myself "Congrats!"

*Btw, the graduation robes seriously need some improvement. Tsk, I am not cosplaying Harry Potter in this special occasion.

So many things to do on CNY

I dont know which country has the longest list of festivals listed. But I do know that the Chinese New Year might be one of the festivals that lasts for nearly a month.

Just a month before CNY, melodious new year classics can be heard almost everywhere, and decorations are hung up and sold at various places.

On the eve of CNY, everyone prepares a really sumptuous reunion dinner, with lots of really expensive foodstuff that can be eaten on that day. I can oni get to eat steamboat at home on this day.

Then from the first to the fifteenth day, everyone will bring two mandarin oranges and hongbaos (for married ones) to their relatives and friends' houses. Heh, I am still single, so I am always busy collecting hongbaos frm my relatives. But, it can be quite sian since there were oni special programs telecasted on the first two days and I dont play ban lat.

On the seventh day, it's the birthday for all humans on earth! In fact, the other days within the 15 days are also the birthdays for some animals. Eh, heard that Nu Wa, the Goddess who created humans, moulded humans out from mud or clay on the seventh day, hence explains why the date.

Finally, on the night of the 15th of the 1st Moon (lunar month), some Chinese will celebrate this day by watching the moon (heard the moon today is big), the lion dance and the lights (not the lamp posts), eating dumplings made from glutinous rice flour and stuffed with sweet fillings, guessing the riddles and etc. Eh, I am not clear of what is supposed to be done on this day, since I do not specially celebrate this day..

Actually, I dont really have a theme to write, since initially, I intend to write on the last day of Chinese New Year.. Anw, hope for the best, if not good things for this year.

Happy Lunar New Year - It's the Year of Ox!

happy_niu_year

Okay, it's not as if I've forgotten to check the calendar and wanting to go around to wish people "Happy Chinese New Year" earlier. I wont be having the time to login online to send my earnest greetings to everyone tomorrow. The next few days totally belong to my paternal and maternal relatives and not to forget, busy collecting hongbaos. LOL~

Nowadays, ppl tend to be wacky. Since the "New" in "Happy New Year" rhymes with the pronunciation of the Chinese name for Ox, some of them have already been wishing me having a happy year with the cows. Ok, I appreciate alot, since I enjoy drinking cow milk and it'll be great if I get to have a free one year supply of a variety flavours of milk.

Enjoy the holidays~

Hopefully, 2009 will be a better year for me and my family and everyone else! I am a greedy person so I shall wish for everything nice and good to come true la. Heheh...
